     § 1251.  Duties of driver in accidents involving injury, death or damage.
     The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury or death to any person or damage to property shall immediately stop such vehicle and shall give his name, address, and the registration number of his vehicle, and exhibit his operator's license to the person struck or the driver or occupants of any vehicle collided with, and shall render reasonable assistance to any person in such accident who is in need of assistance.

     § 1252.  Written report of accident.
     The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury or death to any person or property damage to an apparent extent of $500.00 or more, shall, within 24 twenty-four hours (or as soon thereafter as normal means of transportation and communication will permit), forward a written report of such accident to the Director of Public Safety.  All accident reports shall be without prejudice.

     § 1253.  Accident reports by garages.
     The person in charge of any garage or repair shop to which is brought any motor vehicle which shows evidence of having been involved in a serious accident or struck by any bullet shall report to the nearest police station within 24 twenty-four hours (or as soon thereafter as normal means of transportation and communication will permit) after such motor vehicle is received, giving the engine number, registration number, and the name and address of the owner of operator of such vehicle.

     § 1254.  Accident report forms.
     The Director shall prepare forms for accident reports calling for sufficiently detailed information to disclose with reference to a highway accident the cause, conditions then existing, and the person and vehicles involved.
