Midwives Allowance
§ 1501. Administration.
§ 1502. Employment policies.
The District State Treasurer is hereby authorized to disperse allowances to each midwife during the final week of the month. In the alternative, the District State Treasurer is authorized to dispatch allowance payments on the field trip ship in care of the field trip officer upon the request of the Director of Health Services of or his designated representative.

There shall be 24 twenty four midwives provided allowances under this Chapter. Allowances for each midwife shall be set at ten dollars per month. Other employment policies may be set by the Department of Health Services, Truk District Chuuk State. Each person who has successfully completed the Office of Economic Opportunity Midwifery Training Program and has been certified by the District State
Director of Health Services shall be eligible to receive job opportunities
and allowances under this Chapter.
