§ 1201. Funds established.

In order to carry out the internal administration of the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature, the following funds are hereby established:

(1) Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Fund;

(2) Office Supplies Fund;

(3) Office Equipment Rental Fund;

(4) Vehicle Maintenance Fund;

(5) Speaker and Staff Travel Fund;

(6) Standing and Special Committee Fund;

§ 1202. Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Fund.

The purpose of the Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Fund is to provide for necessary maintenance and repairs to all buildings and grounds owned by the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature. The Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Fund shall be administered by the Administrative Officer of the Legislature.

§ 1203. Office Supplies Fund.

The purpose of the Office Supplies Fund shall be to provide such office and related supplies as may be necessary for the proper and efficient functioning of the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature. The Office Supplies Fund shall be administered by the Administrative Officer of the Legislature.

§ 1204. Office Equipment Rental Fund.

The purpose of the Office Equipment Rental Fund shall be to provide for the rental of such office equipment as may be necessary for the proper and efficient functioning of the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature. The Office Equipment Rental Fund shall be administered by the Administrative Officer of the Legislature.

§ 1205. Vehicle Maintenance Fund.

The purpose of the Vehicle Maintenance Fund shall be to provide necessary maintenance and repairs to all motor vehicles owned by or assigned to the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature. The Vehicle Maintenance Fund shall be administered by the Administrative Officer of the Legislature.

§ 1206. President, Speaker and Staff Travel Fund.

The purpose of the President, Speaker and Staff Travel Fund is to provide for the official travel by the President and the Speaker of the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature and by employees of the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature. The President, Speaker and Staff Travel Fund shall be administered by the President and the Speaker of the Legislature.

§ 1207. Standing and Special Committee Fund.

(1) The Standing and Special Committee Fund is hereby established to enable the Standing and Special Committees of the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature to carry out matters referred to them by the Legislature that are to be carried out when the Legislature is not in General or Special Session.

(2) The Standing and Special Committee Fund shall be administered by the President and the Speaker of the Legislature ~~is hereby authorized to administer the funds appropriated pursuant to this Chapter~~.

§ 1208. Miscellaneous Fund.

The purpose of the Miscellaneous Fund is to provide for emergency or unforeseen expenses which must be met for the proper and efficient functioning of the ~~Truk District~~ Chuuk State Legislature. The Miscellaneous Fund shall be administered by the President and the Speaker of the Legislature.

§ 1209. Reports.

The person or persons charged with administering each of the Funds established pursuant to this Chapter shall report at each regular session of the Legislature on the use of such Fund, and shall submit on an estimate of the appropriations required for such fund during the next fiscal year.

§ 1210. Authorization of appropriations.

There is hereby authorized such annual appropriations out of the General Fund of ~~the Truk District Legislature~~ Chuuk State which are not otherwise appropriated, as the Legislature may deem necessary to carry out the provisions of this Chapter.
